Hands in the air, it’s Founder’s Day! An annual tradition, Founder’s Day is a day for students to let loose and have a little fun. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, but it didn’t stop us from looking hot and feeling festive. Actually, the drizzle almost fit the theme perfectly: Under the Sea.

Jonathan is a sophomore, born and raised in Flushing, Queens, New York. As a Greek and Roman Studies major and a Sociology correlate, he simultaneously studies the really dead and the really alive. His style varies, ranging anywhere from Korean Minimalist Fashion to “Look Sporty Without Actually Being Sporty” (think Tadashi Hamada from Big Hero 6). His love for dressing up probably stems from the hours he spent as a pre-teen playing Maplestory, Neopets, and Animal Crossing.

Adam is a bewildered freshman from Connecticut who hopes to major in Urban Studies or Studio Art. His fashion inspiration comes from Wong Kar-wai movies, Green Day songs, and his passionate 7th grade love affair with the Twilight Saga. In his free time he likes to draw, trip over his own feet, and pretend he likes to hike. He also apologizes for not looking you in the eye. Adam did a capella in high school if you can imagine that.
Carrie is a junior International Studies major hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY (you may have heard of it). Inspired by a character on Disney Channel, she wore only black for the entirety of 2001. She’s mellowed a bit since. Now, Carrie derives her fashion inspiration primarily from French women’s wear, Deborah Thornberry, and the closets of people she once dated. On an average day, you’ll find her struggling to balance a cigarette, phone, and caffeinated beverage between two hands.
