Model: Nina Nakao
Nina is a Junior Political Science Major with correlates in Greek and Roman Studies and Women’s Studies. She grew up in Berkeley, California and takes all her fashion inspiration (and most of her clothes) from her mom. She believes in wearing shoes you love everyday until they absolutely fall apart. Nina would also like to emphasize her bag in this outfit, which was custom made by her friend David Wild, a Cornell FSAD Fashion Design Junior and soon to rule the fashion world.

Models: Sophia Yoo and Ashley Kim
Ashley is a sophomore Chemistry major born in Queens and raised on Long Island, New York. She likes to dance and primarily dances hip hop and k-pop. Ashley enjoys doing her makeup and can probably spend hours perfecting (or trying to perfect) her makeup. Her style mostly stems from Korean street fashion and she wears way too much pink for someone whose least favorite color was pink until last summer.
Sophia is a sophomore from California majoring in Chemistry (and possibly art). Since visiting Korea for the first time in 7 years this winter, much of her wardrobe consists of clothes from the streets of Seoul. She draws her style inspiration from people she comes across on Instagram. And no, she and Ashley are not twins, nor are they related.
Bryce is a senior Film major from California. He splits his time between creating short films, freelance designing, and working on Nubko (http://nubko.com), a web startup focused on helping artists collaborate that he co-founded with two other Vassar students this semester. You can often see him boosting around campus on his longboard, avoiding sidewalk cracks and his problems. The bracelet in this post was particularly significant to Bryce because it was fashioned by Bryce for himself and his twin brother out of a single sheet of copper, stating that it “in a strange way helps me feel connected to him.”
Petch is a freshman from Bangkok, Thailand, by way of London. She’s hoping to major in History of Art, thereby securing a future of healthy unemployment. When getting dressed, her two reference points are always her mum (stalk her @buppa_buppa) and 2015 Harry Styles. She once stood behind Oscar Isaac in a drinks queue and sniffed his hair.

Model: KerryAnn Millin (Mills)
Mills is a sophomore from Swaziland in Southern Africa. She is as indecisive about her intended major and life goals as she is about her fashion goals. Granny chic, bohemian hippy and dad’s old shirt all blend together in a typical week. Drawing inspiration from her empty wallet, her look mainly comes from thrift stores or generous relatives and friends, but there’s always guaranteed to be bright colours and patterns complemented by the pop of her signature red hair.
Zechariah is a rising junior from Los Angeles, CA. He loves film, photography, and music, and aspires to make a positive difference in the world. He gets all of his style inspiration from his mother. (Thanks, Mom!)
Kali is a junior Sociology major with an Africana Studies correlate and from Baltimore. She enjoys writing, Baltimore Club, Criminal Minds, and breakfast. She usually plans her outfits from the sneakers up.

Model: Cyrus Cohen
Cyrus is a sophomore from New York City. He is a film major and hopes to either edit narrative films or write JSTOR articles on competitive reality television. Cyrus’ interest in fashion stems from both an adolescent and current love for dressing up and then poorly taking care of his Sims. He often wonders who let the fashion of the early 2000s happen, and if that person will ever strike again.
Hands in the air, it’s Founder’s Day! An annual tradition, Founder’s Day is a day for students to let loose and have a little fun. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, but it didn’t stop us from looking hot and feeling festive. Actually, the drizzle almost fit the theme perfectly: Under the Sea.

Jonathan is a sophomore, born and raised in Flushing, Queens, New York. As a Greek and Roman Studies major and a Sociology correlate, he simultaneously studies the really dead and the really alive. His style varies, ranging anywhere from Korean Minimalist Fashion to “Look Sporty Without Actually Being Sporty” (think Tadashi Hamada from Big Hero 6). His love for dressing up probably stems from the hours he spent as a pre-teen playing Maplestory, Neopets, and Animal Crossing.
